High elastic orthosis with a rigid thermoformable pad to stabilize the lumbar rachis and relieve pressure
A properly selected orthopedic corset reduces the load on the back, as well as fixes and supports the spine, strengthens the tone of the back muscles and relieves tension. A corset can also have a warming effect and stimulate blood circulation.

CHARACTERISTICS AND MATERIALS
PUTTING ON THE APPLIANCE
1 Open the orthosis and temporarily fix the Velcro® straps at the lateral straps
2 Open the orthosis and position with the orange label facing upwards.
3 Fit the orthosis and fix using the middle Velcro® closure (fig. A).
4 Tighten the orthosis by fixing the Velcro® straps on the front Velcro® strap (fig. B). ONLY high model (LumboSkill72,
REF.33172): First pull tight the lower and then the upper Velcro® straps (fig. C).
5 Ensure that the orthosis is exactly in the centre of the body, both on the front as well as on the back (fig. D).
NOTE:
To ensure optimal stabilisation, mould the rigid stays provided and slide them
into the pockets provided in the back.
Attaching the rigid pad:
– if necessary, heat and mould the plastic part to fit the shape of the patient‘s body
– place the padding on the plastic part (concave side-without any writing-fig. E)
– apply the adhesive Velcro® fasteners centrally on the opposite side to the padding (fig. F)
– attach the pad to the central Velcro® to the inside of the back of the orthosis.
MAINTENANCE
Do not bleach ,No chemical cleaning, Do not iron, Do not tumble-dry
Washing instructions: hand wash at max. 30° C with neutral soap. Dry away from heat sources.
